Bali Airport Lost & Found

How to report or recover lost items at Bali Airport

If you lose something at Ngurah Rai International Airport — whether in the terminal, at a gate, or in a waiting area — this page explains how to report it and improve your chances of recovery.

If you lose something in the terminal

Visit the airport information desk or lost & found office as soon as possible. Provide a detailed description of the item, the location where you believe you lost it, and your contact details. Staff can check whether the item has been handed in.

If you leave something on a plane

Contact your airline directly. Most airlines have a lost property process for items left on board. You will typically need your flight number, seat number, date of travel, and a description of the item. Reach out to the airline's local office or their global lost property service as soon as you can.

What information to provide

  • A detailed description of the item (brand, color, size, distinguishing features)
  • The approximate date, time, and location where you last had it
  • Your full name, contact number, and email address
  • Your flight details (airline, flight number, date)
  • For valuables, a photo or proof of ownership if available

Tips to avoid losing items

  • Keep valuables (passport, phone, wallet) in a secure, zipped bag.
  • Double-check seating areas, trays, and bins before leaving the gate.
  • Label luggage with your name and contact details.
  • Take a photo of your checked luggage and its contents before travel.
